Moreover, this software works in compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996). It earned 2014 Edition, Drummond Certificate for Meaningful Use (MU).

Pros: I have used DocuTap for over two years and I can consider myself an advanced user. I appreciate how comprehensive it is especially with templates for the common chief complaints we see in urgent care.
Cons: The only issues I have had are that the software can sometimes freeze or lag when there is a network error. I also wish it had templates for all types of chief complaints as occasionally some templates are not available.
Verdict: This EMR is simple and straightforward and gets the job done efficiently.

Pros: Experity EMR software has made managing our clinic much easier. The interface is intuitive, the system is cloud-based, and it keeps all patient information organized in one place.
Cons: The EMR software is fairly easy to use, which makes daily tasks much smoother. My only frustration is the limited customization when you request new features; the typical response is, “We’ll put it on the list,” but you don’t often see it actually happen.
Verdict: Sometimes the dropdowns can feel a bit restrictive. When we suggest improvements, the developers who don’t actually work in a clinic often say it’s not necessary or put it on a long ‘to-do’ list, which could take years to get implemented.
