Pros: The software handles patient registration and scheduling well. And also the billing tools are integrated which makes life easier for our admin team. Once you get familiar with the software system the charting is not bad at all. Even the lab connectivity is convenient.
Cons: The interface feels clunky. Especially if you are not in an urgent care setting. My staff needed more training than expected and sometimes navigation slows things down. Support is hit or miss depending on who you reach.
Verdict: It is a capable system. But I think it shines more in urgent care than primary care. For us it is of course functional but not the smoothest experience.

Pros: Experity EMR software is built with urgent care in mind and it shows. Charting is streamlined for common visits and the templates save time. I like that it integrates scheduling billing and reporting so the front desk and providers stay on the same page. The eprescribing feature is straightforward and reliable.
Cons: Some of the updates roll out with bugs and that can be frustrating when you are trying to move quickly in clinic. Customization is also limited compared to larger EMR platforms.
Verdict: For urgent care I say it is one of the better systems I have used. It is not flawless but the speed and workflow fit the pace of our practice well.
