ifa EMR comes complete with quality tools and unique features that greatly benefit an Ophthalmologist’s daily workflow. Ifa offers a SmartScreen user interface that is simple to use and completely eliminates the requirement for any duplicate data entries. To prevent errors, the software links defined fields with one another. The system is developed with new Windows technology and offers a Patient Manager that allows users to access complete medical records from a single menu screen. This includes prescriptions, images, and even drawings.
This health IT system offers two image applications. One of them is a scratchpad which has been designed for quick sketches and the other is a full-featured ifa EyeDraw that includes pre-built templates. Graphic trend reports feature gives visual representations of the patient’s medical progress over time.
Since the system is connected, it allows information to flow from the EMR and into the PM module. The entire staff of the medical practice works from the same screen when it comes to checking a patient in and out and their appointment schedule. Ifa also offers Claim Error Information (CEI) module that locates errors so that practitioners and practice managers can be correct them immediately. This saves time and money.
ifa works fine with 450 plus ophthalmic instruments and is one of the few EMRs that are AAO IHE compliant. This health It system is recommended for any Ophthalmology-specific practice looking for a powerful EMR and PM software.

Pros: The inbuilt templates and image storage are great. We have been able to save a lot of time with the templates. The billing function is also easy to use.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.

Pros: ifa EMR has helped our billing, and systems for EMR, But they are solve the problem together in.
Cons: We are a small practice so we don't need all the bells and whistles as some of the other vendors out there.
Verdict: I have tried numerous EMR and over the past 5 years in my practice to varying degrees of success.
