Pros: The software system is serviceable in terms of managing oncology records but I often feel like it was built more for administrators than for the people actually using it day to day. It does store information reliably and you can usually find what you need conveniently.
Cons: Navigation is clunky. Small tasks take longer than they should. Customer support can be slow to respond which adds to the frustration when something breaks.
Verdict: I would not call iKnowMed EHR software as unusable. But it certainly is not the most efficient tool I have worked with. It gets the job done though not without extra clicks and occasional headaches. With some redesign it could be much better.

Pros: I have been using iKnowMed EMR for about a year now and it does a good job of organizing oncology specific data. The workflow is laid out in a way that feels intuitive. I like that it ties together treatment regimens and lab results which cuts down on unnecessary back and forth.
Cons: It is not the fastest platform. I have noticed lag when moving between patient charts during busier hours. Training new staff takes more time than I would have liked. The interface is not always clear for beginners.
Verdict: Overall it delivers on its promise for oncology practices. But it could stand to be more responsive and easier for new users to adopt. Once you are familiar with the system it is steady and dependable but there is room for improvement in both speed and accessibility.
