Pros: We needed an upgrade for our system, and we chose eClinicalWorks EHR. Been using it for a couple of months now and have not had any problems. The prints, notes and invoices are of great quality. Quite impressed.
Cons: Some features are not very easy to work with.
Verdict: A good EHR system with good functionality.
Andrew, Health Centre
Pros: I have used many software systems in other offices and found eClinicalWorks EHR to be the best for medical practices. It is not very huge or overly complicated. Its search system is great, and is easy to set up too.
Cons: The technical support is not as efficient.
Verdict: It is a reliable software for medium to large medical practices.
Keith, Hospital & Health Care
Pros: This EHR software does most of the job for us. It might not be the best in town, but it is probably similar to most EMRs with negligible flaws. It simplifies the financial or encounter data as well as recording of notes and billing of insurance. Their support is responsive too.
Cons: It just gets slow after an update and takes very long to pick up the speed to perform the usual tasks. That is very frustrating at times.
Verdict: eClinicalWorks EHR is not too good and not too bad.
Victor, Health, Wellness and Fitness
Pros: eClinicalWorks EHR is a basic system, functionality wise. And perhaps that is why it is very easy to learn and use. E-prescriptions and ordering medication is very easy too.
Cons: We have had this constant issue with the follow-ups. I have also complained about it to the support team.
Verdict: Overall a very useful EHR system
Harry, Medical Practice
Pros: eClinicalWorks EHR is an average software system. Nothing big really. It simplifies billing and documenting but that too requires a lot of steps.
Cons: It lacks efficiency, it is very time consuming and on top of it the technical support also below average.
Verdict: I would never recommend this software system.
Steven, Health, Wellness and Fitness
Pros: Scheduling the labs, managing referrals, telephone encounters and messaging are some of its features to like. It is a very smooth system.
Cons: This EHR comes with bugs, minor errors and a few design problems, at least we have experienced these problems.
Verdict: eClinicalWorks is not a bad choice for a small practice.
Sarah, Health Centre
Pros: I have used eClinicalWorks EHR for over two years now. This software system has many likeable features. The scheduling, patient billing and the ability to search billing records under each chart are just a few to name. Plus, the ability to access information remotely through logging in from any device is also a great highlight.
Cons: It lacks customization. Its technical support is also very slow to respond, even to a high priority request.
Verdict: It works well for our centre.
Eric, Hospital & Health Care
Pros: eClinicalWorks EHR conveniently generates medical documentation, patient treatment and health solution plans. It also makes the process of printing the medication very presentable.
Cons: The messaging feature needs major improvement.
Verdict: A decent and easy to use EHR software.
Annie, Health, Wellness and Fitness
Pros: I quite like the billing and scheduling. It is very simple and easy to use.
Cons: Very poor customer service. They are perhaps not trained at all.
Verdict: It is a good EHR software.
Sam, Healthcare Centre
Pros: You only get the simplest of problems and questions answered by the support team. For anything more complex, it takes months.
Cons: This EHR system freezes more than five times a day! The messaging and e-prescriptions feature is so complex that I have had to check every single one manually. The worst part is that I am under a contract and I cant get rid of this system until the term ends!
Verdict: eClinicalWorks EHE is nothing but disappointment.
Sheba, Health Centre
Pros: I like its adaptability and simplicity of finding what you have to discover in the patient diagram.
Cons: What I like least about the product is that there are a lot of snaps that must be made to get to your goal.
Verdict: It is our electronic wellbeing record.
Randy, Ortho Services
Pros: Having a spot to put messages to other people or yourself about the experience was helpful to have and having a different region for changeless messages for all to see versus having individual messages in the diagram permit usability and documentation of repeating issues with a specific patient.
Cons: There was one day when noteworthy updates had been made to the product with no early notification to the clients.
Verdict: At the outset, the preparation was not what I thought. In any case, over the most recent, the online courses have extended and simplicity to watch and print power focuses also.
Michael, Hope Family Health Center.
Pros: its colorful, and the interface looks nice
Cons: poor functionality, zero interest in working with the client to address design flaws / shortcomings / errors
Verdict: its no surprise this vendor recently was held in contempt by a judge for failure to adhere to prior rulings against them in court
lance, UCF Health
Pros: Interesting information, good and user friendly interface, multiple options and point of views
Cons: there is a lot of potential in this product and it is being improved wsith each update
Verdict: A lot of useful information
Elbert, PJSC Slavuta Plant
Pros: Simple procedure, good customer service tech response, macra updates are good.
Cons: Bad Report system, appearance is enhanced in V10 with the price.
Verdict: Needs constant involvement.
Sujana, Capitol Cardiology Associates
Pros: Messenger allows calls and cancel if an emergency happens and we need to call the patients. Super cost effective. The chat portal gives quick answers, this saves trying to make training material on your own.
Cons: Data entry is time consuming. There are difficulties if the support person does not have English as first language.
Verdict: Great for our small health care department
