Pros: The program he used look different from what I have. In addition, my receptionist took one of their webinar courses and stated that it was a waste of time as the program they used was more user friendly than what we were given. I have to agree.

Cons: I picked this EMR over another because I was promised it included telemedicine as well as medical dragon. I purchased the more costly of the two plans offered which was listed as comprehensive and included "Nuance dragon" only to be took after I signed the contract and complained that telemedicine was extra.

Verdict: There is a big fee for canceling the product. In addition, if possible, I HIGHLY recommend you video tape the demonstration and obtain what is included and what is extra cost. The service has improved but I would still not recommend this product we continued to complain and help was very slow, if any for a lot time I had a horrible time getting the product up and running.

Pros: It lacks many necessary features and it is not cheap. I believe ECW owes its success to a good sales team, and to the fact that potential users think: if it is adopted by so many users.

Cons: Due to the nature of this software requiring website re-direction each time you order anything, there is a 3-4 second lag time that occurs every other click, and that adds up to a lot of wasted time at the end of the day. Windows cannot be minimized.

Pros: My collection aging profile is just fantastic! The arrangement I negotiated with one of a mutually rewarding partnership. They've met, and more often exceeded by a great margin, all of my expectations.

Cons: They always give me a cogent answer, or they'll do the appropriate research, and give me the answer I need ASA they can. In sum - one could do MUCH worse than associate themselves with this company.

Verdict: In sum - one could do MUCH worse than associate themselves with this company, and couldn't find any other such organization to a better service for their practice.

Pros: I am sure that this system would provide more, but like so many of us, the time to teach yourself to excel with this program, after just learning enough to get by, is a steep order.

Cons: We provide service for 9 nursing homes and continue to grow. We have 4 office staff and are all virtual. We use eClinicalWorks and Group One for billing and host through PSM.

Verdict: In doing so eClinicalWorks and Group One have always been receptive to growth and change to fit our needs so we can progress and that has been very much appreciated, We are a relatively new business and did not have any software previous. and the implementation went fine. The team did learn how to use eClinicalWorks quickly and the templates have been very useful, eClinicalWorks customer service is much tougher because of.

Pros: The telephone messaging system works very well, allowing for preset and ad lib orders of medications, labs, and imaging, I am part of a three-person, multi specialty group that began using eClinicalWorks as part of a package from Group 1 Health Source which provided the EMR licensing as part of its billing package. Overall a good move.

Cons: The visit summary, which includes a medicine list at the end of each visit has been well received by our patients,The capacity to send a medical summary to the emergency room or not a physician, or for the patient's own records has been extremely well received.

Verdict: All things being said, I would prefer using the system again above others that I've seen and heard about, We have been using the system for two years and may end up using it as part of a larger organization. Albeit I have critiques of the system, however I have heard HORROR STORIES about other systems.

Pros: When we were researching EMR software for our company we wanted something that was user friendly, but efficient as well. The electronic system we were using prior to eClinicalWorks was very hard to learn, impossible to run adequate reports, and was just difficult in every way.

Cons: We are an established OB/GYN office. Our vision is "Women physicians for women's care, And all of our staff, even those new to the office with no medical experience learned within a couple of weeks how to use almost every area of the software.

Verdict: The amount of time we would be spending with another software system does not compare. eClinicalWorks has saved us much time allowing us to continue to grow our practice, up our production.

Pros: The EMR side is good for providers. Providers using EMR for the first time can easily learn this system since most part of it utilizes the clicking method.

Cons: The PM side is excellent with the billing aspect merging well with Gateway EDI clearinghouse. there is a lot to the software that our practice has not explored yet.

Verdict: Overall the system has an excellent PM software and EMR software is great. I recommend to small businesses, But eCW manual and help tools makes it easier for one to learn more about the software and fix minor issues.

Cons: The sales pitch is not made to the clinical user who does all the input but to the back office manager who keeps regular hours, does not see patients, and does not take calls. They make a fancy pitch on how they can make the business part of the medical office run easier and can save time for the office manager.

Verdict: With this EMR, there is no way that can happen. It is only a matter of time before mistakes will be made. When looking at an EMR, a clinical provider needs to keep the patient first and foremost. Speed, reliability, and error-free confidence are what counts.

Cons: This has resulted in some bugs and some delays in clinical development while the arcane and pretentious directives of the Meaningful Use program are achieved, Many of them are using the product on their smart phones to coordinate and understand their care. The eBO product delivers interesting, customization, and actionable reporting.

Cons: If I had to list anything, it would be that eCW offers so many features and options that I could see a new user potentially being a little overwhelmed by all these capabilities, although that's not really a bad thing when you think about it.
