Pros: I like how SmartCare focuses on behavioral health workflows. It is been easy to teach our new staff because the interface is pretty clean once you get used to it. The reporting tools are flexible and helped with our compliance work.
Cons: Sometimes it runs a bit slow during peak hours. It could really use a mobile version that actually works well.
Verdict: Overall it is been a helpful tool. Not perfect but it gets the job done and has not caused major headaches. Support has been responsive most of the time.

Pros: It is okay for documentation and scheduling. It is decent for case management too. I like that it’s designed with behavioral care in mind.
Cons: It feels outdated. Lots of clicks to do simple things and reporting is not as intuitive as I hoped.
Verdict: It works but I would not say it is great. You can make it work if you are patient and have a good IT team but it needs upgrades to be competitive with newer platforms.

Functionality
Pros: Honestly not much to say here. I have had trouble since day one. The software is clunky and feels like it is from 2008. Customizing anything is a nightmare.
Cons: Very laggy. Tech support takes days to respond and workflows just do not make sense for how we operate.
Verdict: I regret pushing this system to our admin team. It slows us down instead of helping. We are already looking at switching to something else.

Pros: It has helped us in providing our clients with accurate, timely, and quality care. Nothing fancy or advanced though.
Cons: Over the period of time we have realized how one issue causes several other issues. It is almost as if they are putting faulty code on top of more faulty code with not a very helpful customer care.
Verdict: It is a good software but needs improvement.
