Pros: The platform has a clean design. It makes moving between modules relatively painless even when juggling a full clinic day. I have found the charting tools to be reliable and my staff picked it up without extensive training. I also appreciate the reminders feature it is saved us from a few scheduling mishaps.
Cons: Integration with other systems is not as seamless as promised. It means extra work when transferring certain records. The help desk can be hit or miss. Depending on who picks up the call.
Verdict: This system has proven to be a solid choice for our practice. It is not perfect but it balances usability and reliability well enough that I would recommend it to colleagues looking for a stable platform.

Pros: The interface is straightforward enough for daily scheduling and tracking patient visits. The learning curve was not overwhelming. It is also nice that updates are rolled out regularly so I feel like the system is not being neglected. Communication tools with staff are fairly decent which helps during busy mornings.
Cons: The reporting functions are limited especially when trying to drill into more detailed patient outcomes. Not always but some times customer support feels slow to respond to straightforward requests.
Verdict: Sunrise Ambulatory Care gets the job done for daily operations but leaves me wishing for more advanced functionality. I would not say it is a bad system but it feels middle of the road compared to what is out there.

Pros: The difference I have found between Sunrise and the very few EHRs we used previously is the easy and amazing customization. The abundance of knowledge that has been put within the software shows in every module. It is an extremely efficient and easy to use software.
Cons: Learning curve could be one for some.
Verdict: Highly recommend it.

Pros: I am really fascinated by the approach of Allscripts and how the entire team works quite closely with us and always tries and makes sure that our system is functional and well-adopted. It has been an overall great experience and the benefits from Sunrise EHR system are maximized for both our patients and our Physicians.
